Adventure Itinerary for 3 Days in Mysore - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Chamundi Hill
    20 minutes (8.3 km) from Mysore Railway Junction

    In the morning, hike to the Chamundi Temple located on top of Chamundi Hill. The scenic views of Mysore from the top of the hill are breathtaking. Afternoon, explore the nearby Nandi Statue and the Mahishasura Statue. In the evening, visit Lalitha Mahal Palace for a cup of tea and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Kabini River
    2 hours (80 km) from Mysore

    Embark on a thrilling jungle safari at the Nagarhole National Park located on the banks of Kabini River. Spot tigers, elephants, leopards, and many other wildlife species. In the afternoon, take a serene boat ride along the river and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Western Ghats. In the evening, relax at the riverfront resort and enjoy a bonfire.

  3. Day 3: Boulders & Rocks Adventure
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 km) from Kabini River

    Drive to the nearby town of Hampi and explore the rocky landscapes filled with ancient temples and ruins. Go rock climbing and bouldering at the nearby hills and caves. In the afternoon, visit the Tungabhadra Dam and take a boat ride to the nearby Anjaneya Hill. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at the Hemakuta Hilltop.

If you enjoy adventure, you can also go zip lining at Bheemeshwari Wildlife Sanctuary or trekking at the Kudremukh National Park. For a cultural experience, visit the Mysore Palace and the Jaganmohan Palace. If you have an extra day, consider visiting the nearby hill stations of Coorg or Ooty.
