3-Day Itinerary for Munnar in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Tea Museum
    20 minutes (8.5 km) from Munnar town

    In the morning, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea in Munnar and the tea-making process. Afternoon, enjoy a traditional lunch at Saravana Bhavan. In the evening, take a stroll through the beautiful Kannan Devan Hills tea plantation.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park
    1 hour (17 km) from Munnar town

    In the morning, visit the Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and other fauna and flora. Afternoon, have lunch at Rapsy Restaurant. In the evening, visit the nearby Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a boat ride in the serene waters.

  3. Day 3: Kolukkumalai Tea Estate and Meesapulimala Trek
    1 hour 30 minutes (35 km) from Munnar town

    In the morning, drive to Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, the highest organic tea plantation in the world. Take a tour of the tea factory and enjoy a cup of tea while enjoying the spectacular view. Afternoon, start the Meesapulimala trek, one of the most beautiful treks in South India. In the evening, return to Munnar town.
