Start your day with a visit to the Eravikulam National Park, the first destination on our itinerary. This park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, a species of mountain goat, and other wildlife such as Indian Muntjac and Sambar Deer. You can take a guided tour or explore the park on your own. In the afternoon, we recommend visiting the Tea Museum for an educational tour about tea processing, followed by a tea-tasting session. End your day by witnessing the stunning sunset at Pothamedu View Point.
Start your day by visiting the Mattupetty Dam, a popular picnic spot and scenic location surrounded by hills and forests. You can take a boat ride on the lake, or simply relax and enjoy the view. From there, head to Echo Point, which is named after the natural echo phenomenon that occurs here. You can shout into the valley and hear your voice echo back to you. If you want a bit of adventure, you can also take a short hike to Top Station, the highest point in Munnar, for panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills.
If you have extra time, we recommend visiting the Kundala Dam Lake and Dam for a peaceful scenic experience. You can also explore the Anamudi Shola National Park for a chance to see rare plants and animals. If you're looking for a side trip, consider visiting the nearby hill stations of Ooty or Kodaikanal. To maximize your fun, we suggest starting your day early to avoid crowds and taking breaks in between activities to rest and recharge.
