5-Day Karnataka Motorcycle Riding Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Mysore
    2 hours 21 minutes (87.3 km) from Bangalore

    In the morning, visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace, which is one of the largest palaces in India. In the afternoon, head to the Brindavan Gardens to witness the musical fountain show. End the day with a visit to the St. Philomena's Church, one of the oldest churches in India.

  2. Day 2: Coorg
    3 hours 20 minutes (115 km) from Mysore

    Begin the day with a visit to the Namdroling Monastery, also known as the Golden Temple, which is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India. In the afternoon, take a walk through the lush greenery of Abbey Falls and enjoy the scenic beauty. End the day by visiting the Raja's Seat, a beautiful garden with a breathtaking view of the sunset.

  3. Day 3: Hampi
    6 hours 23 minutes (343 km) from Coorg

    Start the day by exploring the Virupaksha Temple, which is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, visit the Hampi Bazaar, where you can buy souvenirs and local handicrafts. End the day with a visit to the Lotus Mahal, which is a beautiful palace made of pink sandstone.

  4. Day 4: Badami

  5. Day 5: Gokarna

    Start the day by visiting the Mahabaleshwar Temple, which is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, relax and unwind at the Gokarna Beach which is also known as the Kudle Beach. End the day by visiting the Mirjan Fort, which is a beautiful fort located on the banks of the Aganashini River.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Jog Falls, the highest waterfall in India, which is located only 30 minutes away from Shimoga on Day 3. Another great side trip would be to visit the Bandipur National Park which is located on the way from Mysore to Coorg and is known for its beautiful wildlife and natural beauty.
