Three Days of Relaxation in Mangalore

  1. Day 1: Beach Day

    Mangalore is home to some of the best beaches in India. Spend the morning soaking up the sun at Panambur Beach, which has clean waters and a variety of water sports activities. In the afternoon, head to Tannirbhavi Beach, a serene and sandy beach. Enjoy a walk on the beach while enjoying the view of the sunset. At night, dine at Gajalee Sea Food Restaurant, where you can enjoy some of the best seafood in Mangalore.

  2. Day 2: Temple Tour
    30 minutes (11 miles) from Tannirbhavi Beach

    Start your day at Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Kadri Manjunath Temple, which is one of the oldest and most popular temples in Mangalore. In the afternoon, visit Shri Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple, which has a rich history and a stunning architecture. At night, have dinner at The Old Gate, which offers delicious Indian and Chinese cuisine.

  3. Day 3: City Sightseeing
    15 minutes (6 miles) from Shri Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple

    Explore the city of Mangalore and its rich history. Start at the Mangalore City Central Library, which has a vast collection of books and manuscripts. Continue to St. Aloysius Chapel, a beautiful chapel with stunning frescoes and paintings. In the afternoon, visit the Mangaladevi Temple, a temple dedicated to Goddess Shakti. End the day at the Forum Fiza Mall, where you can shop and dine at various restaurants.

If you have an extra day, visit the Pilikula Nisargadhama, an eco-education and tourism park. Side trips to Udupi and Dharmasthala are also highly recommended.
