Also known as Baby Taj, this tomb is another fine example of Mughal architecture. It was built by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. The intricate marble inlay and lattice work is simply stunning.
End the day by watching the sunset at Mehtab Bagh, a charbagh complex situated on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River. It is said that the garden was designed by Emperor Babur as a moonlit pleasure garden. Enjoy the tranquillity of the garden and the magnificent view of the Taj Mahal.
If you have time, you can also visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city near Agra, or explore the markets of Kinari Bazaar and Rawatpara. A side trip to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, can also be a great idea. Don't forget to try the famous petha sweet of Agra.
