Three Days in Bangalore

  1. Day 1: Lalbagh Botanical Gardens
    20 minutes (6.2 km) from Bangalore Palace

    Located in the heart of the city, Lalbagh Botanical Gardens is a 240-acre park that is home to over 1,000 species of plants. Spend your morning exploring the gardens and taking in the beautiful flora. You can also visit the glasshouse, which is modelled after the Crystal Palace in London. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Bull Temple which is a 10-minute drive from Lalbagh. The temple is dedicated to Nandi, the bull mount of Lord Shiva, and is considered one of the oldest temples in Bangalore. In the evening, head to the MG Road for some great shopping and food.

  2. Day 2: Bangalore Fort
    30 minutes (10 km) from Lalbagh Botanical Gardens

    Start your day by visiting Bangalore Fort, a 16th century fort built by Kempegowda, the founder of Bangalore. Explore the fort's beautiful architecture and learn about its history at the onsite museum. Afterward, head to Tipu Sultan's Palace, a short walk from the fort, and learn about the life and times of the famous ruler of Mysore. In the evening, visit the Ulsoor Lake for a peaceful stroll and a boat ride.

  3. Day 3: ISKCON Temple Bangalore
    25 minutes (8.1 km) from Bangalore Fort

    Spend your last day in Bangalore by visiting the ISKCON Temple. The temple, located in Rajajinagar, is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was built in a neo-classical style. Take a guided tour of the temple and learn about its history and significance. In the afternoon, visit the Cubbon Park, a lush green park in the heart of the city. You can also visit the nearby Vidhana Soudha, which houses the state legislature of Karnataka. In the evening, head to Indiranagar for some great food and nightlife.
