Honeymoon in Nepal - 7 Day Itinerary (June 2023)

  1. Day 1: Kathmandu
    30 minutes (5.7 miles) from Tribhuvan International Airport

    Take a morning tour of the Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant Hindu temples in the world. Enjoy a Nepali Thali for lunch at Bhojan Griha and then visit the Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal. End the day with a romantic dinner at the Garden of Dreams.

  2. Day 2: Pokhara
    25 minutes (2.5 miles) from Pokhara Airport

    Take an early morning flight to Pokhara and check-in to your hotel. Take a boat ride in Phewa Lake and hike to the World Peace Pagoda. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Annapurna range and watch the sunset from Sarangkot. Have dinner at a lakeside restaurant.

  3. Day 3: Chitwan National Park
    4 hours (91 miles) from Pokhara

    Explore the Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to the Bengal Tiger and the one-horned rhinoceros.   5. Day 5: Nagarkot

    Drive to Nagarkot, a hill station famous for its panoramic views of the Himalayas. Check into your hotel and take a short hike to the Nagarkot view tower for sunset views. Have dinner at your hotel with romantic views of the mountains.

  6. Day 6: Bhaktapur
    1 hour 30 minutes (26 miles) from Nagarkot

    Visit Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the "City of Devotees." Explore the ancient temples, palaces and courtyards, and the traditional Newari architecture. Try the famous Juju Dhau (King Yogurt) and have lunch at a local restaurant. End the day with a visit to the pottery square.

  7. Day 7: Kathmandu
    1 hour (12 miles) from Bhaktapur

    Visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which offers stunning views of the Kathmandu valley. Have lunch at a rooftop restaurant and explore the Thamel market for souvenirs. End the day with a Nepali cooking class and farewell dinner.
