3-Day Itinerary for Bangalore in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Lalbagh Botanical Garden
    15 minutes (5.1 km) from Bangalore City Railway Station

    In the morning, explore the 240-acre garden filled with rare plants, trees, and flowers. Take a stroll along the serene lake and enjoy the fresh air. In the afternoon, visit the Glass House, a replica of London's Crystal Palace. In the evening, attend the Sound and Light show that narrates the history of the garden.

  2. Day 2: Bangalore Palace and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace
    25 minutes (8.7 km) from Lalbagh Botanical Garden

    In the morning, visit the Bangalore Palace, a magnificent Tudor-style palace that was built in 1878 and is now open to the public. Admire the architecture, paintings, and sculptures. In the afternoon, head to Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, a beautiful example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Explore the palace and the well-manicured gardens. In the evening, enjoy some traditional food at the nearby food street.

  3. Day 3: Bangalore Fort and Ulsoor Lake
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Bangalore Palace

    In the morning, visit the Bangalore Fort, which was initially built by Kempegowda in 1537. However, the current fort was rebuilt by Tipu Sultan in the 18th century. Visit the Tipu Sultan Summer Palace Museum, which showcases the life and times of Tipu Sultan. In the afternoon, head to the Ulsoor Lake, where you can take a boat ride or relax by the lake. In the evening, head to the nearby MG Road for some shopping and dining.
