2-Day Foodie Itinerary for Hyderabad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    30 minutes (6.3 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to the iconic Charminar, a 16th-century mosque and monument located in the heart of Hyderabad. Enjoy a morning cup of Irani chai and osmania biscuits at Nimrah Cafe, which is situated near Charminar. Afterward, explore the Laad Bazaar, located adjacent to Charminar, and shop for traditional jewelry, bangles, and other souvenirs. For lunch, head to Shahran Cafe & Restaurant to enjoy some delicious Hyderabadi biryani. In the afternoon, visit the Chowmahalla Palace, which was once the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty. Explore the palace, and then enjoy some snacks like samosas and mirchi bajji at the nearby Nimra Cafe. In the evening, head over to the Golconda Fort to watch the beautiful sound and light show that showcases the history of the fort.

  2. Day 2: Jubilee Hills
    30 minutes (10.2 km) from Charminar

    On the second day, start with a visit to the Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park, also called KBR Park, which is spread over 390 acres. Take a morning walk through the park and enjoy the fresh air. Head over to the Bikanervala restaurant in Jubilee Hills for breakfast, where you can enjoy some delicious samosas and sweets. After breakfast, visit the Salar Jung Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of artifacts in the world. For lunch, head to Chutneys, a popular South Indian restaurant, and feast on some mouth-watering dosas. In the afternoon, visit the Durgam Cheruvu, a lake located in Jubilee Hills, and enjoy a boat ride. In the evening, head over to the Hitech City to watch the musical fountain show at Lumbini Park.
