Relaxing 5-Day Itinerary for Nepal in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Pokhara
    From Tribhuvan International Airport to Pokhara City Center: 5 hours (129 miles) via Prithvi Highway

    In the morning, head to Phewa Lake and take a boat ride to the Tal Barahi Temple. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Annapurna range while having lunch at one of the lakeside restaurants. Afternoon, visit the fascinating International Mountain Museum and learn about the history of mountaineering in Nepal.   2. Day 2: Chitwan National Park

  3. Day 3: Lumbini

  5. Day 5: Bhaktapur

Have a traditional Newari lunch at one of the local eateries and try some Juju Dhau, a famous local yogurt. In the evening, enjoy a cup of tea at the Nagarkot View Tower and witness the stunning sunset over the Himalayas.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider trekking in the Himalayas or visiting the picturesque town of Bandipur. You can also take a helicopter tour of Mount Everest or go bungee jumping in Pokhara.
