  1. 9:00AM: Mysore Palace

    Mysore Palace is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Mysore. Built in the year 1912, this historical palace is a perfect blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. You will be amazed by the intricate carvings, beautiful paintings, and the grandeur of the palace. Don't forget to explore the sprawling gardens that surround the palace.

  2. 11:00AM: Chamundeshwari Temple
    Located on top of the Chamundi Hills
    30 minutes (12 km) from Mysore Palace

    Chamundeshwari Temple is a must-visit place in Mysore. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. You will need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the temple, but the view from the top is worth the effort. On your way back, stop by Nandi Statue, a 15-foot-tall statue of Nandi, the divine bull.

    Built-in 1843, St. Philomena's Cathedral is one of the tallest churches in Asia. The church is a perfect example of neo-gothic architecture and is dedicated to Saint Philomena, a 3rd-century saint from Greece. As you enter the church, you will be mesmerized by the beautiful stained glass windows and the grand altar.

  5. 5:00PM: Brindavan Gardens
    Located on KR Sagar Dam Road
    30 minutes (19 km) from St. Philomena's Cathedral

    Brindavan Gardens is a beautiful garden built around the Krishnarajasagar Dam. The garden is spread over an area of 150 acres and is known for its musical fountain show that happens in the evening. The show is a must-see and is a perfect way to end your day in Mysore.
