Hyderabad Family Friendly Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    30 minutes (10.5 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    In the morning, visit the iconic Charminar, built in 1591, and enjoy its stunning architecture. Take a stroll in the nearby Laad Bazaar and shop for traditional bangles and pearls. Have lunch at the nearby Hotel Shadab and try their famous biryani. In the afternoon, visit the Salar Jung Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of antiques and art objects in the world. In the evening, head to the Lumbini Park and enjoy a boat ride to the Buddha Statue located in the middle of the lake.

  2. Day 2: Ramoji Film City
    1 hour 20 minutes (40 km) from Charminar

    In the morning, visit the Ramoji Film City, one of the largest film studios in the world. Enjoy movie-themed attractions, shows, and rides. Have lunch at one of the many restaurants inside the film city. In the afternoon, head to the Nehru Zoological Park and witness a wide variety of animals and birds. In the evening, experience the light and sound show at Golconda Fort, which narrates the history of the city and the fort.

  3. Day 3: Hussain Sagar Lake
    30 minutes (8.5 km) from Ramoji Film City

    In the morning, visit the Birla Mandir, a Hindu temple made of white marble, and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Have breakfast at the nearby Café Niloufer and try their famous Irani chai and Osmania biscuits. In the afternoon, head to the Hussain Sagar Lake and take a boat ride to the nearby Buddha statue. In the evening, visit the Snow World and enjoy various snow-themed activities.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Chowmahalla Palace, Qutub Shahi Tombs, and the Falaknuma Palace. You can also take a day trip to the nearby city of Warangal and explore its rich history and architecture.
