Exploring Munnar in 2 Days

  1. Day 1: Tea Gardens, Mattupetty Dam, and Echo Point
    15 minutes (3.2 km) from Munnar Town

    In the morning, you will visit the tea gardens of Munnar, where you can witness the lush green tea plantations and learn about the tea-making process. Afterward, you will head to Mattupetty Dam, which is a beautiful spot for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will head to Echo Point, which is famous for its echoes.   2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park and Top Station
    1 hour 20 minutes (36 km) from Munnar Town

    Start your day by visiting Eravikulam National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is home to several endangered species, including the Nilgiri Tahr. Afterward, head to Top Station, which is the highest point in Munnar. The view of the Western Ghats from here is breathtaking. You can also visit the nearby Kundala Lake for a peaceful picnic lunch.
