One Day Itinerary for Rameshwaram

1. 6:00 AM: Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple
   Located in the heart of Rameshwaram, the temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples in India. It is believed that a visit to this temple washes away all your sins.

   The hillock has a small temple that enshrines Lord Rama's footprints. The panoramic view of the sea and Rameshwaram town from the top is mesmerizing.

6. 6:00 PM: Agnitheertham
   This is the most famous and sacred bathing spot in Rameshwaram. It is believed that taking a dip in the sea at this spot washes away all the sins.

   The beach is a perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset. You can also witness the evening prayer ceremony at the Ramanathaswamy Temple.
