3-Day Itinerary for Munnar

  1. Day 1: Mattupetty Dam
    20 minutes (9.8 km) from Munnar Town

    Morning: Start your day at Mattupetty Dam where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the dam and the surrounding hills. You can also take a boat ride on the lake.

  2. Day 2: Echo Point

    Morning: Begin your day at Echo Point, known for its natural echo phenomenon. Shout out your name and hear it reverberate through the valley.

    Afternoon: Head to the Tea Museum to learn about the history and production of tea in the region. You can also sample some of the teas and buy some to take home.

  3. Day 3: Anamudi Peak

Recommendations

If you have an extra day, consider taking a day trip to the nearby hill stations like Thekkady or Vagamon. You can also go on a spice plantation tour or indulge in some adventure activities like rock climbing and rappelling.

Make sure to try the local cuisine like appam and stew, puttu and kadala curry, and fish molee.
