4-Day Itinerary for London in July 2023

  1. Day 1: The British Museum
    10 minutes (2 miles) from Buckingham Palace

    In the morning, explore the treasures of the British Museum, including the Rosetta Stone and the Parthenon sculptures. In the afternoon, take a stroll through the nearby Russell Square Gardens and visit the British Library to see the world's greatest collection of books and manuscripts. In the evening, catch a show at West End.

  2. Day 2: Tower of London and Tower Bridge
    20 minutes (3 miles) from The British Museum

    In the morning, take a tour of the Tower of London and see the Crown Jewels. In the afternoon, walk across the Tower Bridge and visit the HMS Belfast, a former British Navy ship. In the evening, have dinner at one of the restaurants along the South Bank of the River Thames and enjoy the view of the city skyline.

  3. Day 3: The London Eye and The Houses of Parliament
    15 minutes (2 miles) from Tower of London and Tower Bridge

    In the morning, take a ride on the London Eye and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. In the afternoon, visit the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben (currently under renovation). Take a walk along Whitehall and Downing Street and see the changing of the guards at Horse Guards Parade. In the evening, explore the nightlife at Camden Town or Soho.

  4. Day 4: Kensington Palace and Hyde Park
    20 minutes (3 miles) from The London Eye and The Houses of Parliament

    In the morning, explore the Kensington Palace, the former home of Princess Diana, and its beautiful gardens. In the afternoon, take a stroll through the Hyde Park and visit the Serpentine Galleries. In the evening, have dinner at one of the restaurants in the Notting Hill area.

If you have time, consider visiting the Tate Modern, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Churchill War Rooms. Side trips to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and the Cotswolds are also popular among visitors.
