2-Day Udaipur Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: City Palace
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Udaipur Railway Station

    Morning: Start your day at City Palace, the most significant landmark in Udaipur. It is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and has several palaces, courtyards, and gardens. You can also visit the crystal gallery inside the palace which has a rare collection of crystal items.

    Afternoon: Head to Pichola Lake, which is just a few minutes' walks away, and take a boat ride to enjoy the scenic view of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. You can also visit the Jagdish Temple located near the lake.

    Evening: End your day at Bagore Ki Haveli, which is a 10-minute drive from Pichola Lake. It is a historic mansion that has been converted into a museum showcasing the culture and history of Rajasthan through dance performances, puppet shows, and art galleries.

  2. Day 2: Saheliyon Ki Bari and Fateh Sagar Lake
    20 minutes (6 km) from Bagore Ki Haveli

    Morning: Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh for his queen and her friends. The garden has several fountains, marble elephants, and a lotus pool. It is a peaceful and serene place.

    Afternoon: Head to Fateh Sagar Lake, which is a 10-minute drive from Saheliyon Ki Bari. The lake has three islands, among which Nehru Park is the most famous. You can enjoy boating, water sports, and camel rides here. You can also visit the Udaipur Solar Observatory, which is located near the lake.

    Evening: End your trip with a visit to the Monsoon Palace, which is a 40-minute drive from Fateh Sagar Lake. It is a hilltop palace that offers a panoramic view of Udaipur. It is a perfect spot to view the sunset and enjoy the scenic beauty of Udaipur.
