You can take a pony or palanquin for a more comfortable ride. Once you reach the temple, take blessings from the holy shrine and explore its surroundings. Spend the night at the temple or return to your hotel in Katra.

  3. Day 3: Bhairavnath Temple and Adhkunwari Cave
    Located 1.8 miles from Vaishno Devi Temple
    • In the morning, visit the Bhairavnath Temple, located on a hilltop. After darshan, trek down to Adhkunwari Cave, believed to be the place where Mata Vaishno Devi meditated for nine months. Spend the evening exploring the local markets and savoring the local cuisine.

  4. Day 4: Patnitop

    • Spend a day in the quaint hill station of Patnitop. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the place, visit the Nag Temple and take a pony ride. If you are visiting in the winter, indulge in snow activities such as skiing and snowboarding. Return to Katra in the evening.
