Recommendations

Other local attractions that you can consider visiting include the Raghunath Temple, Nau Devi Temple, and the Bahu Fort in Jammu. You can also plan a day trip to the Mansar Lake and Surinsar Lake, both located around 50 km from Katra. To maximize your fun, book a helicopter ride to Vaishno Devi Shrine for a breathtaking view of the hills and forests. Make sure to carry comfortable trekking shoes, warm clothes, and a raincoat as the weather can be unpredictable in July.
