3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Munnar in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Mattupetty Dam
    15 minutes (6.2 miles) from Munnar

    In the morning, head to Mattupetty Dam for an adventurous speed boat ride. Enjoy the surrounding hills and tea plantations as you speed across the water. In the afternoon, go on a trek to Echo Point. The trail is approximately 2 km and will take about an hour to complete. You can shout out your name and hear it echos back. At evening, visit the Kundala Lake to experience a serene boat ride.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park
    30 minutes (9.3 miles) from Munnar

    Start your day with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, a beautiful park known for its rare Nilgiri Tahr. Take a 3.7 km trek to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India. The trek takes approximately 3 hours. In the afternoon, go for an adventurous mountain biking in the forests of Munnar. Later at evening, relax in the Ayurvedic spa at the Windermere Estate.

  3. Day 3: Top Station
    1 hour 30 minutes (35 miles) from Munnar

    In the morning, visit Top Station, the highest point in Munnar that offers a panoramic view of the Western Ghats. Take a 4 km trek to Meesapulimala, the second highest peak in South India. The trek takes approximately 4 hours. In the afternoon, go for a thrilling zipline ride through the stunning hills of Munnar. Later at evening, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history and production of tea in Munnar.
