Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the Jog Falls, the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. You can also visit Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is famous for its 8th-century temples. Another recommended side trip is to the picturesque hill station of Coorg, which is known for its coffee plantations and beautiful landscapes. To maximize your fun, try local delicacies such as Mysore Pak, Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee. Don't forget to shop for traditional silk sarees and sandalwood products as souvenirs.
