Honeymoon Itinerary for Shimla Manali in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Shimla
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Shimla Airport

    In the morning, visit the famous Jakhu Temple and enjoy the scenic views of Shimla from the top. Have lunch at the historic and luxurious Wildflower Hall. In the afternoon, explore the bustling Mall Road and indulge in some shopping. In the evening, take a romantic walk at the Ridge and watch the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Adventure at Kufri
    1 hour and 20 minutes (15 miles) from Shimla

    Embark on an adventurous day trip to Kufri. Enjoy a thrilling yak ride and visit the Himalayan Wildlife Zoo to see rare antelopes, birds and big cats. Later, go for a hike to the Mahasu Peak to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding snow-clad mountains.

  3. Day 3: Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley
    5 hours (130 miles) from Shimla

    Travel to Manali and visit the Rohtang Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world. Enjoy activities like skiing, snowmobiling and snowboarding. Later, visit the picturesque Solang Valley, where you can participate in adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing and horse-riding.

  4. Day 4: Sightseeing in Manali

  5. Day 5: Departure
    1 hour and 30 minutes (31 miles) from Manali to Bhuntar Airport

    Depart for Bhuntar Airport and bid farewell to the beautiful Shimla Manali region.

Some other local attractions to consider include the Kullu Valley, Naggar Castle, and the Beas River. You can also take a day trip to the nearby town of Manikaran to visit the hot springs and the famous Gurudwara.
