3-Day City Experiences Itinerary for Hyderabad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    20 minutes (7.5km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Start your day at the iconic Charminar, a monument synonymous with Hyderabad. This 16th-century mosque and monument is located in the heart of the old city. Climb up the stairs to the top of the Charminar and soak in the breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Afterward, explore the bustling streets around Charminar, where you can shop for pearls, bangles, and the famous Hyderabadi biryani. In the evening, head to the nearby Chowmahalla Palace, once the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, and witness a stunning sound and light show that depicts the history of Hyderabad.

  2. Day 2: Golconda Fort and Qutub Shahi Tombs
    30 minutes (13km) from Charminar

    Start your day at the majestic Golconda Fort, a 13th-century citadel and fortress complex. Take a guided tour of the fort and learn about its rich history, including its role in the diamond trade. Afterward, head to the nearby Qutub Shahi Tombs, the final resting place of the legendary rulers of Hyderabad. The tombs are an excellent example of Persian, Hindu, and Pathan architectural styles.   3. Day 3: Ramoji Film City and Hussain Sagar Lake
    45 minutes (30km) from Jubilee Hills

    Start your day at the Ramoji Film City, the world's largest integrated film studio complex. Take a guided tour of the film city and witness the making of some of India's biggest blockbusters. Get a taste of the behind-the-scenes action and explore various sets, including the Bahubali set. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Hussain Sagar Lake, a man-made lake that connects the two important cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Take a leisurely boat ride on the lake, and visit the famous Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake. In the evening, head to the Lumbini Park, located near the lake, and witness the stunning laser show and musical fountain.
