Four-day itinerary for Udaipur in July 2023

  1. Day 1: City Palace
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Udaipur City Railway Station

    Begin your Udaipur journey by visiting the City Palace, a splendid masterpiece that is a combination of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Spend your morning admiring the intricate designs and beautiful gardens. Afternoon, head to the Crystal Gallery, a part of the City Palace that displays a stunning array of crystal items. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and witness the magical sunset.

  2. Day 2: Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon ki Bari
    6 minutes (1.5 km) from City Palace

    Start your day by visiting the Jagdish Temple, one of the largest and most beautiful temples in Udaipur. Afterward, head to the Saheliyon ki Bari garden, originally built for the royal ladies of the palace. In the afternoon, explore the labyrinthine streets and shops of the old city. Witness the traditional art of miniature paintings at the Udaipur Art Museum. In the evening, enjoy a cultural show at the Bagore ki Haveli.

  3. Day 3: Monsoon Palace and Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary
    30 minutes (15 km) from Saheliyon ki Bari

    Start your morning by visiting the Monsoon Palace, situated on a hill overlooking the city. This palace provides a beautiful panoramic view of the city, and it's a photographer's paradise. Afterward, head to the Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary, a nature reserve that is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including tigers and leopards. In the evening, return to the city and visit the popular Fateh Sagar Lake.

  4. Day 4: Vintage and Classic Car Museum and Shilpgram
    15 minutes (5 km) from Fateh Sagar Lake

    Start your final day by visiting the Vintage and Classic Car Museum, a unique collection of vintage cars that belonged to the Maharajas of Udaipur. Afterward, head to Shilpgram, a rural art and craft complex that showcases traditional handicrafts from Rajasthan. In the afternoon, visit the Badi Lake and enjoy a peaceful boat ride. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner at one of the city's finest restaurants.
