The neighborhood also features numerous seafood restaurants and tapas bars.
Montserrat Monastery is a Benedictine abbey located on a mountaintop near Barcelona. Barcelona has an extensive public transportation network consisting of buses, metro, and suburban trains. Tourists can purchase a T10 card that allows 10 rides on any combination of those modes of transportation for €10.20. Taxis are also available but are more expensive than public transportation.
If you have more time, consider visiting other popular attractions such as Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, or La Rambla. If you have less time, shorten the itinerary by skipping either Park Güell or Montserrat Monastery.
The main airport serving Barcelona is Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN), located 12 km southwest of the city center. The airport has two terminals and is connected to the city center by several means of transportation, such as the AeroBus, the RENFE train, or the metro. Taxi rides from the airport to the city center cost around €30-€40 and take approximately 30 minutes.
