Four-Day Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Candolim Beach
    30 minutes (12.2 km) from Thivim Railway Station

    In the morning, stroll along the Candolim Beach and enjoy the sunrise. You can also visit the Aguada Fort, which is a few minutes away from the beach. In the afternoon, take a dip in the sea and try out some water sports like parasailing and jet-skiing. In the evening, walk around the beachside shacks and enjoy some local Goan cuisine along with some cocktails.

  2. Day 2: Chapora Fort and Anjuna Beach
    20 minutes (9.2 km) from Candolim Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Chapora Fort, which offers a panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding areas. After the fort, head to the Anjuna Beach, known for its flea market and water sports activities. In the afternoon, have some lunch at one of the beachside shacks. In the evening, have a drink at one of the bars or pubs.

  3. Day 3: Baga Beach and Calangute Beach
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Start your day at Baga Beach, known for its nightlife and water sports activities. You can try paragliding, jet-skiing, and banana boat rides. Afterward, head to Calangute Beach, one of the busiest and largest beaches in North Goa. Have some lunch at one of the shacks. In the evening, stroll around the beachside market and indulge in some shopping.

  4. Day 4: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Dona Paula Beach
    30 minutes (17.7 km) from Calangute Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. Afterward, head to Dona Paula Beach, known for its romantic views and sunset. In the afternoon, have some lunch at one of the restaurants. In the evening, walk around the beachside and enjoy the local food.

If you have spare time, you can visit the Aguada Jail, Reis Magos Fort, and St. Augustine Tower. You can also take a side trip to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is a three-hour drive from North Goa.

To maximize your fun, try out some adventure sports like scuba diving, snorkeling, and river rafting. You can also take a bicycle ride around the villages and explore the local culture and traditions.
