Two-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (9.5 miles) from the Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to Fort Aguada, a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Explore the fortifications, lighthouse, and the nearby prison.
    Afternoon: Head to Aguada Beach, which is famous for its water sports, including parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet skiing. You can also relax on the beach and grab some lunch at one of the nearby shacks.
    Evening: End your day with a visit to the nearby Sinquerim Beach, which is perfect for watching the sunset and taking a stroll.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 15 minutes (47 miles) from Fort Aguada

    Morning: Start your day early and head to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, set amidst the lush greenery of the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. Take a dip in the refreshing water and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
    Afternoon: After the falls, head to the nearby Spice Plantation, where you can learn about the spices and herbs used in Indian cuisine and take a spice tour of the plantation. You can also enjoy a traditional Goan lunch here.
    Evening: End your day with a visit to the nearby Tambdi Surla Temple, a twelfth-century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located amidst the dense forests of the Western Ghats.
