4-Day Hyderabad Itinerary on a Shoestring Budget in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    20 minutes (5 miles) from Secunderabad Railway Station

    Start your trip with Hyderabad's iconic monument, Charminar. Get there early to avoid the crowds and to have a peaceful morning exploring the area. Walk around the bazaar and try some local street food for breakfast. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Laad Bazaar for some shopping and bargaining. As the sun sets, head over to the Golconda Fort to watch the sound and light show.

  2. Day 2: Hussain Sagar Lake
    10 minutes (3 miles) from Charminar

    Take a stroll along the serene Hussain Sagar Lake in the morning, and visit the Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake by a boat ride. After lunch, head to the Birla Mandir, a beautiful Hindu temple situated on a hill that offers a panoramic view of the city.
