3-Day Itinerary for North Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (7.4 km) from Calangute Beach

    In the morning, visit the famous Fort Aguada. Built in the 17th century, it served as a guard against Dutch and Maratha invaders. In the afternoon, explore the Sinquerim Beach nearby. Finally, in the evening, head to LPK (Love Passion Karma) Club for a night of music, food, and drinks.

  2. Day 2: Explore Anjuna Flea Market and Chapora Fort
    25 minutes (10.2 km) from Fort Aguada

    In the morning, visit the Anjuna Flea Market which sells local handicrafts, spices, and jewelry. In the afternoon, explore the Chapora Fort which offers panoramic views of the sea. Lastly, in the evening, head to Curlies Beach Shack to enjoy live music, seafood, and cocktails.

  3. Day 3: Visit Basilica of Bom Jesus and Dona Paula Beach
    1 hour (28 km) from Chapora Fort

    In the morning, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, relax on the Dona Paula Beach which offers water sports and scenic views. Finally, in the evening, head to Thirsty Bear Sports Bar for a night of sports, food, and drinks.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, visit the Reis Magos Fort which offers stunning views of the river and the sea. You can also take a day trip to the Dudhsagar Falls or the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. To maximize your fun, try different water sports such as parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. Don't forget to try the local cuisine such as fish curry, vindaloo, and bebinca. Lastly, make sure to catch the sunset at one of the many beaches in North Goa.
