5-Day Relaxation Itinerary in Munnar in November 2023

  1. Day 1: Tea Museum
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Munnar Town

    Start your morning with a visit to the Tea Museum. Learn about the history and production of tea, and taste some delicious varieties. In the afternoon, head to Pothamedu Viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the tea and spice plantations. End the day with a relaxing walk through the lush greenery at Blossom Hydel Park.

  2. Day 2: Top Station
    2 hours (34.3 km) from Munnar Town

    Take a scenic drive to Top Station, which offers breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. Spend the morning exploring the area and taking in the stunning natural beauty. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Echo Point for some more mountain views. Head back to town for a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage at one of Munnar's many spas.

  3. Day 3: Eravikulam National Park
    1 hour (14.4 km) from Munnar Town

  5. Day 5: Anamudi Peak

    Start your day with a trek to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys from the top. Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider taking a day trip to the nearby hill stations of Thekkady and Vagamon. You can also visit the beautiful Meesapulimala Peak for some trekking and camping. To maximize your fun, try some of the local cuisine, such as appam and stew, or fish curry. Finally, make sure to plan your itinerary around the monsoon season, which runs from June to September, to avoid any travel disruptions.
