2-Day Itinerary for Agra in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Agra Fort

  2. Day 2: Fatehpur Sikri and Itimad-ud-Daulah
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 km) from Agra Fort

    For the morning, take a day trip to Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features beautiful palaces, mosques, and courtyards, and is a great place to explore ancient Mughal architecture. In the afternoon, visit Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj, another beautiful marble mausoleum that is often compared to the Taj Mahal. In the evening, walk around the vibrant Sadar Bazaar, a bustling market that offers a wide variety of local handicrafts and souvenirs.
