3-Day Itinerary for Munnar

  1. Day 1: Tea Gardens and Mattupetty Dam
    20 minutes (7.5 miles) from Munnar town

    In the morning, we will visit the famous tea gardens, where you can see the tea-picking process and learn about tea production. Afterward, we will head to Mattupetty Dam, a popular picnic spot with lush green surroundings and a serene lake. In the afternoon, we will visit Echo Point, a beautiful viewpoint, and enjoy the spectacular views of the valley and hills. In the evening, we will visit the Kundala Dam Lake and take a relaxing boat ride.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park and Top Station
    40 minutes (14 miles) from Munnar town

    In the morning, we will visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. You will be awe-struck by the stunning landscape of rolling hills, grasslands, and waterfalls. Afterward, we will head to the Top Station, the highest point in Munnar, and enjoy the panoramic view of the Western Ghats.     In the morning, we will experience the world's highest tea plantations in Kolukkumalai, located at an altitude of 8000 ft. You will be amazed by the breathtaking sunrise and the scenic beauty of the hills. Afterward, we will head to Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot some rare and endangered species like the grizzled giant squirrel and the slender loris. In the afternoon, we will visit the Marayoor Sandalwood Forests, known for its aromatic sandalwood trees. In the evening, we will return to Munnar town.
