5-Day North Goa Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (9.2 km) from the airport

    Visit the historic Fort Aguada, built-in 1612. Spend the morning exploring the fort and the lighthouse, taking in the stunning views of the Arabian Sea.   2. Day 2: Anjuna Flea Market

    Start your day at the hippie paradise of Anjuna Flea Market. Shop for souvenirs, clothes, and unique handicrafts while enjoying the live music and delicious food. In the afternoon, head to Vagator Beach to witness the stunning sunset. End the day by partying at one of the famous nightclubs in the area.

  3. Day 3: Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Basilica of Bom Jesus, famous for its Baroque architecture and the preserved mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Spend the afternoon exploring Panaji, the state capital, and the Fontainhas heritage district. In the evening, watch a movie at Maratha Mandir, one of the oldest cinema halls in Goa.

  4. Day 4: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (78.6 km) from Panaji

    Embark on an adventurous trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls. Trek through the lush green forests, take a dip in the natural pool, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the cascading waterfall. In the evening, head back to Panaji for some local street food.

  5. Day 5: Chapora Fort
    30 minutes (10.2 km) from Panaji

    End your trip with a visit to the Chapora Fort, famous for its scenic beauty and the iconic Dil Chahta Hai Bollywood movie.
