6-Day Nature Itinerary for Karnataka in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Coorg
    From Bangalore, it's a 5-hour (261 km) drive to Coorg

    In the morning, visit the beautiful Abbey Falls and enjoy a short trek to the Raja's Seat viewpoint. In the afternoon, indulge in a plantation tour at the coffee estates and learn about the coffee-making process. Wind down the day with a visit to the Omkareshwara Temple.

  2. Day 2: Nagarhole National Park
    2 hours (77.3 km) from Coorg

    Embark on a morning jeep safari in the Nagarhole National Park, home to tigers, leopards, and elephants. After lunch, take a coracle ride on the Kabini River and spot exotic birds. In the evening, visit the nearby Iruppu Falls, a beautiful waterfall located in the Brahmagiri range.

  3. Day 3: Bandipur National Park

  5. Day 5: Jog Falls
    3 hours (151 km) from Chikmagalur

    Start the day with a visit to the Kudremukh National Park, home to several species of flora and fauna. In the afternoon, head to Jog Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, located in the Shimoga district. Take a refreshing dip in the waterfalls before heading back to Chikmagalur for the night.

  6. Day 6: Bangalore
    4.5 hours (243 km) from Jog Falls

    On your final day, drive back to Bangalore, stopping at the Shravanabelagola Jain temple en route. In Bangalore, visit the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the oldest gardens in India, and take a stroll among the exotic flora. In the evening, explore the Bangalore Palace and end the day with some street food at VV Puram Food Street.
