Recommendations

If you have extra time, you can also visit the Gandhamadhana Parvatham, which is the highest point in Rameshwaram and offers a panoramic view of the city. You can also take a trip to the nearby Dhanushkodi ghost town, which was destroyed in a cyclone in 1964. To maximize your fun, you can try the local seafood delicacies like prawn, squid, and crab. Don't forget to buy souvenirs like seashell crafts and silk sarees from the local markets. We hope you enjoy your trip to Rameshwaram!
