3-Day Itinerary for Munnar in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Munnar Tea Museum

Take a guided trek to the peak of Anamudi, the highest peak in South India, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills and tea plantations. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a boat ride in the tranquil waters. In the evening, head to Kundala Lake for a peaceful walk and enjoy the sunset views.

  3. Day 3: Top Station
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 km) from Eravikulam National Park

    Start your day early and head to Top Station, the highest point in Munnar, for a breathtaking view of the Western Ghats and the valley of Theni district in Tamil Nadu. On the way back, stop by the beautiful Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary for a jungle safari to spot wildlife such as elephants, deer, and langurs. In the evening, visit the Thoovanam Waterfalls, located inside the sanctuary, for a refreshing dip in the cool waters.
