  1. Day 1: The French Quarter

    Start your adventure in the heart of New Orleans at the French Quarter. Rich in history and culture, this 85-block district is home to some of the city's most famous landmarks. Walk through the streets and hear live jazz music, see colorful buildings and enjoy some delicious Creole cuisine. Check out the Jackson Square, a historic park that is home to many street performers, artists and musicians. Be sure not to miss the Cafe Du Monde, famous for its beignets and cafe au laits, that have been served since 1862.

  2. Day 2: Garden District and Uptown
    20 minutes (3.5 miles) from the French Quarter

    On day two, take a trip to the Garden District and Uptown. This historic neighborhood is filled with beautiful southern-style mansions and oak-lined streets. Walk around and take in the scenery or take a guided tour. Be sure to visit Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, a historic cemetery that has been featured in many films and TV shows. For lunch or dinner, visit Commander's Palace, a famous Creole restaurant that has been in operation since 1890. It's colorful exterior and famous brunch are not to be missed.
