On your second day, begin by visiting the Thiruvalluvar Statue, situated on the small island of Kuravan and Kurathi in the ocean. It stands 133 feet high and features 3 different components which include the pedestal, the middle portion of the statue, and the face of the saint-poet. Take the ferry to enjoy a serene ride to the island. Next, head over to the Padmanabhapuram Palace in Kanyakumari district which is famous for its ancient architecture as well as its many mural paintings. It was the official residence of the Travancore Rulers. Last but not least the palace has the highly esteemed Ramayana manuscripts.
