  1. Day 1: Explore the Southernmost Tip of India
    10 minutes (3.1 km) from Kanyakumari Bus Stand

    Start your journey by visiting the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built in honour of Swami Vivekananda, who meditated on this rock before continuing his journey to Chicago. Take a ferry ride to the rock and explore the museum and meditation hall. Next, visit the Thiruvalluvar Statue, a 133-feet tall stone statue of the famous Tamil poet, philosopher and saint, Thiruvalluvar. End your day by witnessing the spectacular sunset at Kanyakumari Beach.

    20 minutes (12.6 km) from Kanyakumari Beach

    Begin your day by visiting the Kumari Amman Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Kanyakumari. It is one of the 108 Shakti Peethas and an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Next, visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace, a beautiful wooden palace located in the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu. The palace was once the residence of the Travancore Royal Family. End your day by visiting the Suchindram Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. The temple is famous for its 22-feet tall Hanuman statue and beautiful sculptures.
