If you are interested in wildlife, visit the Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, which is about 130 km away from Kanyakumari. You can spot tigers, leopards, elephants, and other animals in their natural habitat. Another must-visit place is the Padmanabhapuram Palace, which is about 55 km away from Kanyakumari. It is one of the best-preserved wooden palaces in India and offers a glimpse of the life of the royals in the past. You can also take a side trip to the nearby town of Nagercoil, which is known for its beautiful temples and churches.
