  1. Day 1: Ajanta Caves
    110 km (2 hours 50 minutes) from Aurangabad

In the morning, visit the 12 Buddhist caves that showcase the life of Buddha through sculptures. In the afternoon, explore the 17 Hindu caves that feature carvings of deities and mythological creatures. In the evening, see the five Jain caves that depict the teachings of Jainism through beautiful sculptures.

You can also visit the Bibi Ka Maqbara, which is a replica of the Taj Mahal, and Panchakki, a water mill that dates back to the 17th century. If you have more time, consider visiting the Daulatabad Fort, a magnificent fort with a unique defense system, and Bhadra Maruti Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. To maximize your fun, take a hot air balloon ride to see the beautiful city of Aurangabad from above.
