  1. 9:00AM: Jayakwadi Dam
    1 hour (19.4 miles) from Aurangabad city center

    Start your day with a visit to the Jayakwadi Dam, a beautiful dam on the Godavari River. You can take a boat ride and enjoy the scenic views of the dam. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

  2. 11:00AM: Bibi Ka Maqbara
    40 minutes (15.7 miles) from Jayakwadi Dam

    Visit the Bibi Ka Maqbara, a tomb built in memory of Aurangzeb's wife. The architecture of the mausoleum is similar to the Taj Mahal and is often referred to as the "mini Taj". It is a popular tourist spot and a must-visit when in Aurangabad.

  3. 1:00PM: Panchakki
    20 minutes (3.3 miles) from Bibi Ka Maqbara

    Head to Panchakki, a water mill built during the Mughal era. The mill served as a source of energy for grinding grains and was also used to irrigate the nearby gardens. You can also visit the Dargah of Baba Shah Musafir located nearby.

  4. 2:30PM: Siddharth Garden and Zoo
    15 minutes (3.2 miles) from Panchakki

    End your day with a visit to Siddharth Garden and Zoo, a popular attraction in Aurangabad. The garden is spread over 23 acres and has a variety of trees, plants, and flowers. The zoo is home to a variety of animals, including tigers, lions, and monkeys.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, you can also visit the Ajanta and Ellora caves, which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. These caves are located a few hours away from Aurangabad and are known for their beautiful carvings and paintings. You can also try some local street food, such as pav bhaji or vada pav.
